I Ate Chicken from the Trash

Chicken Supreme. It was the best tasting chicken dish I had ever had at that time in my life, and I wanted it every day. I never would have discovered it if I hadn’t started working at that restaurant.

It looked kind of like this.. but not exactly the same. It probably looked worse than this, but tasted better.

Essentially it was fried chicken smothered in a white gravy, but that is an oversimplification of what it was. It wasn’t just “fried chicken,” it was lightly battered and breaded, and fried at a lower temperature…
